Windows Vista Style Button

Let’s create a button with the Windows Vista Style.

To begin, we will open a new document 400 x 400px and fill it in with color lead.

Create a new layer. Select ((Rounded Rectangle Tool)) and make the button using the radius you consider most appropriate. Fill it in with white.

Now let’s apply the styles. Go to ((Layer))-((Layer Styles))-((Blending Options)). From this point on, choose a color you will use until the button is finished. I chose blue.

Now let’s create the brightness of the button. Press Ctrl + Click on the layer to activate the selection. Make the selection ((Rounded Marquee Tool)), press and hold the Shift key so you erase part of the previous selection. Check out the image below.

Create a new layer.

Fill it in with white and reduce the ((opacidad)) to 30%.

Draw two lines in the left hand side using ((Single Column Marque)). Fill in the first one with white and change its layer style to ((Soft Light)). Fill in the other one with black and also change its style to ((Soft Light)).

Our Windows Vista button is ready. You can download it and apply a text to it.
