Snow Falling Effect in a Winter Image

Tutorial in Effects, In Photos

Let’s create a great snowy effect in an image. In order to do so, we will create ((Noise)), ((Levels)), ((Motion Blur)), layer styles, ((Transform)), and ((Crystallize)).

Open the image in Photoshop. You can download i by clicking HERE.

Create a ((New Layer)).

Fill it in with.

Apply ((Filter))-((Noise))-((Add Noise)).

Then go to ((Filter))-((Blur))-((Blur More)).

Press Ctrl + L to open the ((Levels)) window and enter these values.

Change the layer style to ((Screen)).

Now go to ((Filter))-((Blur))-((Motion Blur)).

Duplicate this layer (Ctrl + J).

Rotate the duplicated layer. ((Edit))-((Transform))-((Rotate 180º)).

Then go to ((Filter))-((Pixelate))-((Crystallize)).

Now ((Filter))-((Blur))-((Motion Blur)). Angle: 65º – Distance: 16px.

Stand in the superior layer and go to ((Layer))-((Merge Down)) in order to unify the layers.

Duplicate the layer (Ctrl + J) and reduce the ((opacity)) to 35%

Once you have reduced the opacity, you will have finished the tutorial.
This is my final result.
