Creating LCD TV

Learn how to design a TV LCD in Photoshop. We will use ((Rectangular Marquee Tool)) to draw the TV contours. We will also apply ((Drop Shadow)), ((Inner Shadow)), ((Gradient Overlay)), ((Stroke)), and the filter ((Gaussean Blur)).

Open a new document (400×400px and transparent background).
Fill in the background with #212529.

Create a ((New Layer)).

With ((Rectangular Marquee Tool)), draw a rectangle and fill it in with white.

Double click the layer to apply ((Layer Styles)).

((Gradient Overlay)). For the gradient use these colors: #c7c7c7 and #a4a4a4.

((Stroke)).

Accept the changes.

Create a ((New Layer)).

Draw another rectangle, smaller than the previous one.

Fill it in with black.

Create another ((New Layer)).

Draw a white rectangle, even smaller than the previous one.

Double click the layer to go to ((Layer Styles)).

((Inner Shadow)).

((Gradient Overlay)). For the gradient, use the colors #4480b9 and #0b1945.

((Stroke)).

Accept the changes and you will see this result.

In a ((New Layer)), draw the buttons and fill them in with white.

Select all the layers but the background one and press Ctrl + T top activate ((Free Transform)). Then right click and select ((Distort)) to change the LCD TV perspective.

Create a ((New Layer)) and place it below the blue screen.

Now with ((Pen Tool)), draw a trace as shown below.

Press Ctrl + Enter to activate the selection.

FIll in this new selection with white.

Ctrl + Click the black rectangle layer, go to menu ((Select))-((Inverse)), stand in the layer you previously filled in with white, and press delete.

Reduce the ((Opacity)) to 16%.

Brightness 1:

Repeat the last 2 steps 2 more times but in the blue screen and in opposite ways.

To the following brightnesses, lower the ((opacity)) to 10%.

Create a ((New Layer)).

With ((Pen Tool)) or ((Polygonal Lazo Tool)), draw the thickness of the TV as shown in the following image and fill it in with dark red.

Create a  ((New Layer)).

With ((Elliptical Marquee Tool)), create an oval filled in with white, which will be the TV support.

Copy the first layer’s ((Layer Styles)). Right click the name of the layer and choose ((Copy Layer Styles)), right click the oval layer’s name and choose ((Paste Layer Styles)).

Let’s draw some reflections.

Create another ((New Layer)).

With ((Elliptical Marquee Tool)), draw small white ovals as shown in the following image.

Then apply ((Filter))-((Blur))-((Gaussean Blur)).
