Creating Office Papers

Let’s create a desktop with some papers on it.
Open a new (400×300px and transparent background).
Then, let’s add a wooden texture, which will be the desktop. You can download it from here.
Create a ((New Layer)).
Select ((Rectangular Marquee Tool)) to draw the paper.
Fill in the selection with color #e6f6fe.
Apply ((Filter))-((Noise))-((Add Noise)).
Double click the layer to open the ((Blending Options)) window.
((Drop Shadow)).
((Outer Glow)).
This is the result after applying ((Blending Options)).
Now open a new document (10×10px).
Zoom in the image so that you can see it in more detail.
Choose #58a9d8 as the main color.
Select ((Pencil Tool)), 1px, and draw a horizontal line in the superior part of the ducument.
Then go to ((Edit))-((Define pattern)). Name it and save the changes.
Ctrl + Click the layer to activate the selection.
Create a ((New Layer)) and fill it in with white.
Reduce the ((Fill)) to 0%.
Go to menu ((Layer))-((Layer Style))-((Pattern Overlay)).
From the list, select the Pattern you created.
After applying ((Pattern Overlay)) we will be able to see the lines of the paper.
Standing in the line’s layer, select ((Rectangular Marquee Tool)), “Add To Selection” (it’s pointed with an arrow in the image below), and select all the lines. Then press delete.
Crete a ((New Layer)).
Choose #ff3636 as the main color.
Select ((Line Tool)), 1px, and draw a vertical line in the right side of the paper. Take a look at the image below.
To the layers with the lines, reduce their ((opacity)) to 35%.
Select all the layers but the wooden background one and duplicate them Ctrl + J
Then press Ctrl + E to unify them.
Duplicate it again (Ctrl + J).
Finally, with ((Free Transform)) (Ctrl + T), rotate the duplicated layers a few grades, so that it looks like the papers are piled up.
Final result.
