Open a new document, 1024×768px, and white background.

Double click the layer to open ((Layer Styles)) and apply ((Gradient Overlay)). The colors you will use will be: #3a3a3a and #828282.

Accept the changes.

Create a ((New Layer)).

Choose white as the foreground color.

Select ((Rounded Rectangle Tool)) radius: 8px and draw the following rectangle.

Double click the rectangle layer to apply ((Layer Styles)).

((Bevel and Emboss)).

((Blending Options)).

((Gradient Overlay)). Use these colors: #3b3b3b, #ffffff and #3b3b3b.

((Pattern Overlay)).

Accept the changes and see the results in the following image.

Create a ((New Layer)).

Select ((Elliptical Marquee Tool)) with Alt + Shift pressed (proportional) and draw a selection as the one you see below.

Fill it in with black.

Deselect (Ctrl + D).

Double click the layer to open ((Layer Styles)).

((Outer Glow)).

((Gradient Overlay)).

((Pattern Overlay)).

((Stroke)). Use these colors: #000000, #000000, #ffffff, #000000 and #ffffff.

Accept the changes.

Create a ((New Layer)).

With ((Elliptical Marquee Tool)) and Alt + Shift press (proportionally) and draw the following selection
Fill it in with white.

Trace another circular selection, smaller than the other one.

With the selection active, select delete.

Apply ((Layer Styles)) to the “ring” layer.

((Stroke)). Use these colors: #3b3633 and #dedede.

Accept the changes.

Duplicate the ring layer (Ctrl + J).

Activate ((Free Transform)) (Ctrl + T) and with Alt + Shift pressed, enlarge the size of the ring. See the following image.

Standing in the duplicated ring layer, trace a circular selection as the one you see below.

Then press delete.

Create a ((New Layer)).

With ((Elliptical Marquee Tool)) and Alt pressed trace the following selection.
Fill it in with white.

Change the layer mode to ((Soft Light)) and reduce the ((Opacity)) to 50%.

Create a ((New Layer)).

Trace a circle as the one you see below and fill it in with white.

Double click the layer and apply ((Layer Styles)).

((Outer Glow)).

((Gradient Overlay)). Use these colors: #ff0000 and #000000.

((Stroke)). Use these layers: #f0f0f0, #3e3e3e, #f0f0f0 and #3e3e3e.

Accept the changes.

Create a ((New Layer)).

In the last circle you created, draw a reflection like the one that appears below:

Select ((Elliptical Marquee Tool)), fill it in with white, and then reduce its ((Opacity)) to 10%.
See the final result.

First of all you need the image of a person. I recommend you to choose a picture in which the person doesn’t have a hair-do nor the hair all over the face.

Desaturate the image. ((Image))-((Adjustments))-((Desaturate)).

Select ((Pen Tool)) and trace the lady’s contour.

Press Ctrl + Enter to transform the trace into selection.

Then ((Select))-((Inverse)) to invert the selection. person

Press delete.

Create a ((New Layer)), fill it in with white and place it underneath the image.

Download the marble texture by clicking HERE and open it in Photoshop.

Desaturate the texture. ((Image))-((Adjustments))-((Desaturate)).

Ctrl + Click the layer to activate the selection.

Stand in the texture layer and press delete.

Change the layer mode to ((Multiply)).

Select ((Dodge Tool)), ((Midtones)), 162px, ((Exposure)): 50%, and paint the lady’s layer to illuminate the face.

Reduce the texture’s ((opacity)) to 70%.

Select ((Pen Tool)) and trace a selection that covers the eye as shown in the following image.

Then use ((Clone Stamp Tool)) to clone the marble texture in the new selection (new layer).

It is important that the ((hardness)) is not bigger than 15%.

Deselect.

Stand in the eye layer.

Select ((Burn Tool)), ((Highlights)), ((exposure)): 40%, and paint the cloned eyes contour.

It is very important that the ((hardness)) of this tool is not bigger than 15%.

Also apply ((Burn Tool)) to the exterior part of the cloned eye. You can use the lady layer or the texture.

Repeat the same steps in the right eye.

Stand in the eyes layer and/or the lady’s image and apply ((Blur Tool)) in order for the eyes not to look like they are “pasted” into the woman.

Download the background texture by clicking HERE and open it in Photoshop.

Place the texture underneath the other statue layers and. Take a look at the following image.

Double click the lady layer to apply ((Layer Styles)) and apply ((Drop Shadow)).

Accept the changes and see the results in the image below.

Open a new document, 400×300px, and white background.

Create a ((New Layer)).

Select ((Pen Tool)) and create a trace as the one you see below.

Press Ctrl + Enter to transform the trace into selection.

Fill in the selection with black.

Double click the layer to apply ((Layer Styles)).

((Gradient Overlay)). Use these colors #808080, #1e1e1e, and #808080.

((Stroke)).

Accept the changes and see the results.

Create a ((New Layer)).

Select ((Line Tool)), 3px, and trace a white line as the one you see below.

Double click the line layer and press ((Layer Styles)).

((Gradient Overlay)).

Create a ((New Layer)).

With ((Pen Tool)) create a trace as the one you see below.

Double click the layer to apply ((Layer Styles)).

((Gradient Overlay)). Use these colors: #89800b, #ede99c, #89800b, and #ede99c.

Accept the changes.

Duplicate the layer (Ctrl + J) and place it above the original one.

Create a ((New Layer)).

Select ((Rounded Rectangle Tool)), 10px, and draw a black rectangle over all.

Go to ((Layer Styles)) and apply ((Gradient Overlay)). Use these colors: #89800b, #ede99c, #89800b and #ede99c.

Accept the changes and see the results.

Create another ((New Layer)).

Select ((Elliptical Marquee Tool)) and trace a small oval in the inferior part. Take a look at the following image.

Fill it in with black.

Double click the layer to open ((Layer Styles)) and apply ((Gradient Overlay)). I used these colors: #8f8e8e and #000000.

Accept the changes.

Create a ((New Layer)).

As you will see in the following image, I created another oval in the superior area. Apply the same gradient you used in the other shape. In order to save some time when applying ((layer Styles)), right click the layer that already has the styles and choose ((Copy Layer Styles)), then right click the name of the layer you want to apply the styles to and choose ((Paste Layer Styles)).

In a ((New Layer)) and with ((Pen Tool)), draw a grey shape as the one that appears pointed with a red arrow.

Select all the layers except for the background one and drag them into the ((Create a New Layer)) to duplicate them, as shown in the following image.

Duplicate one of the bronze shapes with ((Free Transform)) (Ctrl + T), reduce its size and arrange it to the center.

In 2 layers, draw the following shapes with ((Rounded Rectangle Tool)), 10px.

Then copy and paste the bronze shapes’ ((Layer Styles)).

Create a ((New Layer)).

Select ((Pen Tool)) and draw a sape as the one you see below; it’s pointed with a red arrow.

Fill it in with black.

Apply ((Gradient Overlay)). Use these colors #89800b, #ede99c, #89800b, and #ede99c.

Create a ((New Layer)).

With ((Rounded Rectangle Tool)), 10px, draw a shape as the one that appears below.

Apply ((Gradient Overlay)). Use these colors #808080,#1e1e1e, and #808080.

Create a ((New Layer)).

One of the last steps will be creating the lens connector.

Fill it in with black…

…apply this ((Gradient Overlay)).

Accept the changes.

As you can see, I duplicated the connector and placed it below the first one.

Now rasterize the 2 circles. Right click the name of the layer with the first circle and choose ((Convert To Smart Object)) from the drop down list. Right click and select ((Rasterize Layer)).

Repeat the second step.

Press and hold Alt and click in the middle of both layers. The said zone is pointed with a red arrow.

Create a ((New Layer)).

With ((Elliptical Marquee Tool)), draw a circular selection as the one that appears below.

Fill it in with white.

Double click the layer to open ((Layer Styles)) and apply ((Gradient Overlay)).

Accept and see the results.

Open a new document, 400×400px, and black background.

Create a ((New Layer)).

Select ((Line Tool)), ((Weight)), 1px, trace a horizontal line throughout the document (press and hold Shift while you do so). Fill it in with white.

Trace the same type of line, vertically.

Duplicate the layer (Ctrl + J).

Select the duplicated layer, then press Ctrl + T -((Free Transform))- and, from the options bar placed in the superior part of the window, enter 45º as the rotation value. Press ENTER.

Select the two layers except for the background one and press Ctrl + E to unify them.

Press Ctrl + T and enter 22,2º as the rotation value. Press ENTER.

Select the 2 superior layers and press Ctrl + E to unify them.

Now press Ctrl + T and enter 11,3º as rotation values. Then press ((Enter)).

Go to ((Filter))-((Distort))-((Twirl)). ((Angle)): 50º.

Duplicate the layer (Ctrl + J) and go to ((Image))-((Transform))-((Flip Horizontal)).

Press Ctrl + E to unify the layers.

The following step is optional. If you want to colorize the star, Ctrl + Click the layer to activate the selection and create a gradient using ((Gradient Tool)).

We will first place the background, this time we will use a wooden texture. You will be able to download it from HERE.

Open a new document, 1200×1200px, and place the image of the texture.

Download the image of these fruits by clicking HERE and open it in Photoshop.

Then with ((Pen Tool)) or ((Polygonal Lazo Tool)), trace the fruits’ contour.

With ((Free Transform)) (Ctrl + T), reduce the size of the fruits. The idea is that there is an important distance between the fruits and the document’s borders.

Double click the image to apply ((Layer Styles)).

((Drop Shadow)).

Accept the changes.

Now with ((Pen Tool)), trace the pack’s contour. You can download an image of those packs in Google, which can make the job easier.

Press Ctrl + Enter to transform the trace into selection.

Create a ((New Layer)) and place it underneath the fruits.

Choose white as the foreground color and medium grey as background.

Then go to menu ((Filter))-((Rener))-((Coluds)).

Now apply ((Filter))-((Artistic))-((Plastic Wrap)).

Reduce the ((Opacity)) to 25%.

Go to ((Layer))-((Layer Mask))-((Reveal All)). As you will see, the mask is white, so you will have to use black in order to erase.

Select ((Brush Tool)), 120px, ((Hardness): 0%, black as foreground color, stand in the mask layer and erase the central areas leaving the flanks visible.

In this step, we will create the superior part of the pack. The technique is similar.

Create a ((New Layer)) and place it above the other ones. Repeat the previous steps: ((Shape)), ((Clouds)), ((Plastic Wrap)) y ((Layer Mask)). Then reduce the opacity to 30%.

Now we will create the plastic bevel.

Create a ((New Layer)) and place it above the other ones.

Press D to reset the colors to black and white.

Press Ctrl + Click the pack’s layer to activate the selection.

Then go to ((Filter))-((Render))-((Clouds)). Afterwards, ((Filter))-((Render))-((Difference Clouds)). Now press Ctrl + F to repeat the last filter 2, 3 or 4 more times.

Go to menu ((Filter))-((Artistic))-((Plastic Wrap)).

Then ((Filter))-((Distort))-((Spherize)). (Amount: 100%).

Now change the layer style to ((Lighten)).

There is a lot of brightness. We will create a ((Layer Mask)) and erase the unnecessary shines, specially the ones that surround the pack.

Create a ((New Layer)) and place it underneath the other ones.

Ctrl + Click the layer to activate the selection.

Fill it in with black.

With ((Move Tool)), move the black selection about 15 or 20px downwards and to the right.

Now apply ((Filter))-((Blur))-((Gaussean Blur)).

Create a ((New Layer)) and place it above the other one.

Choose white as the foreground color.

Ctrl + Click the pack to activate the selection.
Go to ((Select))-((Modify))-((Border)): 1px.

Press Alt + Backspace to fill in the selection with white.

Then reduce the ((Opacity)) to 25%.

Create a ((New Layer)) and place it above the other ones.

With ((Penn Tool)) trace the lines of closure of the pack.

Choose ((Brush Tool)), 2px, and ((Hardness)): 100%.

Go to ((Window))-((Path)) to see the trace palette.

Right click the traces you created and choose ((Stroke Path)), ((Brush)) from the drop down menu.

Duplicate the layer (Ctrl + J) 3 more times and apply different opacity levels.

Create a ((New Layer)) and bring it to the front.

Create another trace in the superior part of the pack, ((Brush Tool)), 20px, and choose  #fbd816 as the foreground color.

Go back to the traces’ palette, right click the trace and select ((Stroke Path)), ((Brush)), and accept.

Right click the layer to apply ((Layer Styles)).

((Inner Glow)).

((Bevel and Emboss)).

Accept the changes, duplicate the layer, (Ctrl + J) and place it a few pixels downwards.

Then you will see my final result, I hope you liked it.

To begin, we will activate the grids. ((View))-((Show))-((Grid)).

Select ((Elliptical Marquee Tool)), ((Add To Selection)) to trace both circles as shown in the image below. Press and hold Alt while you do so.

Then with ((Rectangular Marquee Tool)), ((Add To Selection)), draw a rectangular selection from the middle of the circle to the other side.

You can now remove the grids. Go back to ((View))-((Show))-((Grid)).

Create a ((New Layer)).

Fill in the selection with white.

((Drop Shadow)).

((Inner Glow)).

((Bevel and Emboss)).

((Gradient Overlay)). Use these colors: #aebca8 and #ffffff.

Accept the changes and, if you did everything OK, you should see the following results.

Duplicate this layer (Ctrl + J). Right click the layer and select ((Clear Layer Styles)).

Change the layer style to ((Soft Light)) and reduce the ((Opacity)) to 30%.

Press Ctrl + T to activate ((Free Transform)) and reduce it to its half, vertically. Take a look at the following image.

With ((Rectangular Marquee Tool)), trace a selection as the one you can see below.

Go to ((Edit))-((Cut)), and then ((Edit))-((Paste)). Align the layer to its original position.

Right click the inferior layer and select ((Copy Layer Styles)), then right click and choose ((Past Layer Styles)).

Create a ((New Layer)).

Move the flash cover some pixels to the left.

With ((Rectangular Marquee Tool)), draw a rectangular selection between the cover and the memory as shown in the next 4 images. Fill it in with black.

Double click the layer to apply ((Layer Styles)).

((Drop Shadow)).

((Gradient Overlay)). Use these colors: #2e2e2e, #000000, and #2e2e2e.

((Stroke)).

Accept the changes.

Create a ((New Layer)).

Now draw a black square.

Double click the layer to apply ((Layer Styles)).

((Drop Shadow)).

((Gradient Overlay)). Use these colors: #aebca8 and #ffffff.

((Stroke)).

Accept the changes.

In this layer, with ((Line Tool)), 1px, draw 2 horizontal lines in the center, one white, and the other, black.

Finally with ((Rectangular Marquee Tool)), draw 2 black squares. Enlarge the following image to see these details.

Finally, you will be able to add the details you like.

In the following image you will see my final result.

With ((Gradient Tool)), ((Linear Gradient)), trace a gradient from top to bottom using the colors #5c6fff and #bac7fe.

Create a ((New Layer)).

Choose black as the foreground color.

Select ((Rounded Rectangle Tool)), 15px, and trace a rectangle as the one that appears below.

Now go to ((Edit))-((Transform))-((Perspective)) or ((Edit))-((Transform))-((Distort)) to create a perspective similar to the one that appears below.

Duplicate this layer (Ctrl + J).

Place it below the original layer.

Pay attention to the next step: stand in the duplicated layer and press Alt + Down Arrow 20 times exactly (no more, nor less than 20). You will see that the layers are duplicated and moved 1px downwards.

It should look like in the following image. I filled in the 20 layers with red so that you can see the process.

Select 7 of the 20 layers starting from the bottom and press Ctrl + E to unify them in an independent layer.

Now select 10 more and press Ctrl + E.

Finally, you should have 3 layers and the original one. Take a look at the following image.

Now select the bottom layer.

Double click the layer to go to ((Layer Styles)).

((Drop Shadow)).

((Gradient Overlay)). Use these colors: #000000 and #323232.

Accept the changes.

Then select the independent layer in the middle and double click it to apply ((Layer Styles)).

((Bevel and Emboss)).

((Gradient Overlay)). Use these colors: #5f5f5f, #0c0c0c, and #5f5f5f.

Accept the changes.

Now double click the independent layer to apply ((Layer Styles)).

((Gradient Overlay)).

Accept the changes.

Now click the original layer, the one on top.

((Bevel and Emboss)).

Inner Bevel, Smooth, 1000, Up, 2, 0 (-120º, +30º)

Before going on, we will download the image with the Mp3 display by clicking here ACÁ.

Open the image and paste it into the document.

With ((Rectangular Marquee Tool)), select the display and go to ((Edit))-((Cut)).

Then go to ((Filter))-((Vanishing Point)). With ((Edit Plane Tool)), trace the perspective in the MP3 player’s base. Once you have done that, press Ctrl + V to paste it. Drag the image of the display  towards the perspective and notice how it fits automatically.
Accept the changes.

Double click the Display layer to apply ((Layer Styles)).

((Inner Shadow)).

((Bevel and Emboss)).

Accept the changes.

In a ((New Layer)), I added some details about the MP· player brand (DO MP3 ; ))

Ctrl + Click the layer where the base is to activate the selection. Then with((Polygonal Lazo Tool)), ((Subtract from selection)), reduce the active selection.

Create a ((New Layer)).

Fill it in with white.

Reduce the ((Opacity)) to 20%.

Finally, we will create the lateral buttons.

Select ((Polygonal Lazo Tool)) to trace the button’s selection.

Fill it in with white.

Double lick the button’s layer and apply ((Layer Styles)).

((Inner Shadow)).

((Gradient Overlay)). Use these colors: #4a4a4a and #ffffff.

Finally, duplicate the button’s layer (Ctrl + J) 2 more times.

Open a new document, 256×256px, and white background.

Create a ((New Layer)).

Select ((Elliptical Marquee Tool)), and press + Alt, to trace a circle as the one you see below.

Fill it in with black.

Press Ctrl + R to activate the rules.

Click and drag it towards the center to place the guides. Take a look at the following image.

Create a ((New Layer)).

Stand in the black circle and, with ((Elliptical Marquee Tool)), trace a circle as shown in the following image.

Fill it in with any color.

Ctrl + Click to activate the selection of the red circle, then stand in the black circle layer and press delete.

Keep standing in the black circle layer.

Select ((Rectangular Marquee Tool)) and trace a selection as shown below.

Then right click and select ((Layer Via Cut)). Observe how the selection has been cut and placed in a different layer.

Repeat the previous steps with the other 3 layers. Take a look at the result in the following image.

Double click the cut circle layer and apply ((Layer Styles)).

((Bevel and Emboss)).

((Color Overlay)).

((Stroke)).

Accept the changes.

Apply these ((Layer Styles)) to the other 3 parts, modifying ((Color Overlay)):

Green: #11a30e.

Yellow: #bdc302.

Blue: #2628fe.

After applying the same ((Layer Styles)) to the other 3 layers, you will get this result.

Click the red circle layer, to which you already applied ((Layer Styles)).

((Inner Glow)).

((Color Overlay)).

((Stroke)).

Accept the changes.

Create a ((New Layer)).

Trace an interior circle, as the one you see below.

Then go to ((Select))-((Modify))-((Feather)) (5px).

Fill in the selection with color #C7FFFF.

Now select ((Erase Tool)) size: 65px, Hardness: 0%. Erase this layer layer to give a half moon shape. Take a look at the result in the following image.

Duplicate the layer (Ctrl + J).

Change the blending mode to ((Overlay)) and reduce the ((Opacity)) to 70%.

Press Ctrl + T to activate ((Free Transform)) and modify the scale. You will see the values in the folowing image.

Ctrl + Click the red area to activate the selection.

Then go to ((Select))-((Modify))-((Contract)) (1px).

Create a ((New Layer)).

Apply a radial gradient from white to transparent as shown in the image below.

Duplicate the brightness layer 3 more times and then, with ((Flip Horizontal)) and ((Flip Vertical)), which you can find in ((Edit))-((Transform)), place the other duplicated layers.

Create a ((New Layer)).

Select ((Shape Tool)) and choose the curved triangle that comes with Photoshop.

Fill it in with any color.

With ((Free Transform)) (Ctrl + T), rotate the triangle.

Double click the triangle layer to apply ((Layer Styles)).

((Outer Glow)).

((Color Overlay)).

Accept the changes.

Ctrl + Click the triangle layer to activate the selection.

Then go to ((Select))-((Modify))-((Contract)) (2px).

Create a ((New Layer)).

Trace a radial gradient from white to transparent. Check out the results in the following image.

Create a ((New Layer)).

With ((Elliptical Marquee Tool)), trace a circle as shown in the image below and draw a linear gradient as shown in the following image.

You can create an outer shadow to the icon, by simply creating a black circle in the background and applying ((Filter))-((Blur))-((Gaussean Blur))(Radio: 7px). Well, this is my result.

Open the image of the racing car. You can download the image by clicking HERE.

Create a ((New Layer)), fill it in with black and reduce the ((Opacity)) to 70%.

To this layer apply ((Filter))-((Render))-((Lens Flare)) in the car’s wheel.

After applying this filter select ((Elliptical Marquee Tool)) and trace a circle surrounding the wheel. Take a look at the following image.

Now go to ((Filter))-((Artistic))-((Plastic Wrap)).

Create a circular selection surrounding the filter and apply ((Filter))-((Distort))-((Twirl)). (Angle: 470º).

With ((Free Transform)) (Ctrl + T), reduce the layer until it fits the wheel.

In the same layer, fill in with black the area where you can still see the original image.

Now go to ((Filter))-((Stylize))-((Wind)). (Method: Wind, Direction: From the left).

This is the most important step. Let’s create the shape of the fire going to ((Filter))-((Liquify)). Use a medium brush size and select ((Forward Warp Tool)). Now you just have to play with this amazing tool to create a realistic effect.

Accept the changes and increase the ((opacity)) to 100%.

Press Ctrl + B to open ((Color Balance)). Enter the following values selecting ((Highlights)).

Change the layer style to ((Screen)).

With ((Free Transform)) (Ctrl + T) rotate the layer until the fire is in perspective to the car’s position.

Adjust the colors of the flame. Go to ((Image))-((Adjustments))-((Levels)) or press Ctrl + L. Move the Midtones slider towards the right until you are Ok with the changes.

Now the flame is ready.

First you will have to get the picture of your car.

With ((Pen Tool)), cut and eliminate the image of the background.

Now you will have to get the image of a landscape. You can download it from HERE.

Go to the document with the vehicle and press Ctrl + C to copy, then go to the landscape and press Ctrl + V to paste.

As you will see, the background cannot be seen through the car’s glasses, so it doesn’t look real at all.

With ((Pen Tool)), trace the glass contour.

Press Ctrl + Enter to activate the selection.

Go to ((Edit))-((Cut)) and then ((Edit))-((Paste)) to place the glass in an independent layer.

To this layer, reduce the ((Opacity)) to 50%.

Open a new document, 1600×1200px, and transparent background.

Select ((Gradient Tool)), ((Lineal Gradient)) and trace a gradient from bottom to top using these colors: #121212 and #474748

Create a ((New Layer)).

With ((Rectangular Marquee Tool)), draw a rectangle in the superior part of the document and fill it in with white.

With the selection active, select ((Gradient Tool)), ((Linear Gradient)) and trace a gradient from top to bottom using these colors: #66c90d and #a5d51e.

Create another ((New Layer)) and trace a rectangular selection smaller to the other one.

Select ((Gradient Tool)), ((Linear Gradient)) and trace a gradient from top to bottom using: #252525 and #545353.

Then, with ((Rectangular Marquee Tool)), draw a rectangular selection as the one that appears below and go to ((Edit))-((Copy Merged)) and then ((Edit))-((Paste)), you will see this new selection is in an independent layer.

Double click the layer to apply ((Layer Styles)).

((Drop Shadow)).

Accept the changes.

Copy the image you created and the car into this document.

Double click the green bar to apply ((Layer Style)).

((Pattern Overlay)).

Accept the changes and take a look at the image to see the results.

Create a ((New Layer)).

Select ((Line Tool)), 1px, and trace 2 lines, a white and a black one, next to each other as shown in the following image.

Modify the blending mode to ((Soft Light)).

Duplicate this layer (Ctrl + J) until you complete the bar and leave some space to place the titles of the buttons.

Select the font Arial and write the titles of the buttons.

Done, this is it. Now you try!

Open a new document, 400×400px, and white background.

Create a ((New Layer)).

Select ((Elliptical Marquee Tool)) and, pressing and holding Alt + Shift, trace a circle as the one you see below.

Double click the layer to apply ((Layer Styles)).

((Drop Shadow)).

((Gradient Overlay)). Use these colors: #0f69a9 and #187cec.

Create a ((New Layer)).

Trace a smaller black circle.

Double click the layer to apply ((Layer Styles)).

((Gradient Overlay)). Use these colors: #0f69a9 and #187cec.

((Inner Shadow)).

Accept the changes.

Create a ((New Layer)) and place it below the other circles.

Select ((Rounded Rectangle Tool)), 6px to trace a black rectangle as the one that appear below.

Use ((Free Transform)) (Ctrl + T) to rotate the object.

Double click the superior layer to open ((Layer Styles)) and apply ((Gradient Overlay)). For this gradient use: #0f69a9 and #187cec.

Accept the changes.

Duplicate this layer (Ctrl + J).

Stand in the duplicated layer and go to ((Edit))-((Transform))-((Flip Vertical)) to place the layer to the other side.

Check out the result in the following image.

Create a ((New Layer)) and also place it under the circles.

Select ((Pen Tool)) to trace the support.

Press Ctrl + Enter to transform the trace into selection.

Fill in the selection with black.

Double click the layer to apply ((Layer Styles)).

((Drop Shadow)).

((Bevel and Emboss)).

((Gradient Overlay)). Use these colors: #1fb0f3 and #1fb0f3.

Accept the changes and see the partial result in the following image.

Create a ((New Layer)) and bring it to the front.

Choose #6bd8fc as the foreground color.

Select ((Brush Tool)) with the styles that are pointed out with the red arrows.

After you paint, the center of the clock to give some shine to it, you will get this result.

Ctrl + Click the layer to activate the selection.

Then, with ((Elliptical Marquee Tool)), ((Subtract From Selection)), trace a circle as the one that appears below.

Create a ((New Layer)).

Fill it in with white.

Change the layer style to ((Soft Light)).

Create another ((New Layer)).

Draw another circular selection as the one that appears below.

In this selection, trace a linear gradient from white to transparent.

Create another ((New Layer)).

Select ((Pen Tool)) to trace the clock needles.

Fill them in with white.

Select ((Shape Tool)) and choose the arrow to add it to the needles.

In a ((New Layer)), draw 4 white points placed as shown in the following image. Apply ((Drop Shadow)) using the default values.

Finally, write the numbers of the clock and…done! The clock is ready.

Open a new document, 750×550px.

Select ((Gradient Tool)) and trace a vertical linear gradient using these colors #FFFFFF, #759CC3, and #02143A.

Create a ((New Layer)).

Select ((Elliptical Marquee Tool)) and trace a circle as the one that appears below.

Select ((Gradient Tool)) to trace inside the circle, a linear gradient with these colors #ffffff, #b8b7bd, and #ffffff.

Deselect (Ctrl + D).

Go to ((Filter))-((Noise))-((Add Noise)).

Duplicate the layer (Ctrl + J).

With ((Free Transform)) (Ctrl + T), reduce the snow ball layer and place it above the first one. Take a look at the image below.

With ((Pen Tool)) or ((Polygonal Lasso Tool)), draw the scarf contour.

Create a ((New Layer)).

Fill it in with color #9f0004.

With ((Polygonal Lasso Tool)), create the folds of the scarf.

Use a soft brush, 50px and color #4F0101.

With the selection still active, paint underneath the inferior part.

In the following image, you will be able to see the scarf after you create the said folds.

Ctrl + Click the head’s layer to activate the selection.

Create a ((New Layer)) and place it in front of the other ones.

Trace a radial gradient using these colors #870203, #210102, and #870203.

Apply the same values of ((Noise)) that you use to create the head and the body.

Then select ((Elliptical Marquee Tool)) and draw a selection like the one you see below. Press delete to eliminate the selected area.

In a ((New Layer)) draw the eye.

Double click the layer to apply ((Drop Shadow)).

Duplicate the eye layer (Ctrl + J) and arrange it to the other side.

Create a ((New Layer)).

Select ((Pen Tool)) to draw the selection of the nose. Then apply a linear gradient using these colors: #FFB036 and #FE2E00.

In a ((New Layer)) create the nose shadow. Remember to reduce the ((opacity)).

Create a ((New Layer)).

With very soft brushes, add snow flakes in different sizes and colors.

Create a ((New Layer)) and place it above the other ones.

With a soft, white brush, draw the ground.

Open a new document, 600×630px, and black background.

With ((Pen Tool)), draw the 3 visible sides of the box, in 3 different layers. Once you have finished the trace, press Ctrl + Enter to activate the selection and fill it in with black.

With ((Move Tool)) unify the layers.

Download the texture clicking HERE.

Open the texture inside the document and, with ((Free Transform)), first, reduce the size of the texture; it’s too big (DO NOT press enter yet). The right click the mouse in ((Free Transform)) and choose ((Distort)). Now arrange the texture in perspective to the box.

Repeat the same steps in the other sides of the box (Scale, Distort).

After arranging the textures, select all the layers and press Ctrl + E to unify them. There will be only the box layer and the background one.

You will now add a background. You can download it clicking HERE.

Open the image and place it into the document.

The next step will be reducing the grass in front of the box.
Reduce the ((Opacity)) of the layer to 50%. Now select ((Pen Tool)) and draw some traces as the ones that appears below.

Increase the box layer’s ((opacity)) to 100%.

The next step is optional.

Write a text in the box. I used Arial Black.

Let’s apply ((Layer Styles)) to the text. Go to ((Layer))-((Layer Style))-((Blending Options)).

((Inner Shadow)).

((Inner Glow)).

((Bevel and Emboss)).

((Pattern Overlay)).

Accept the changes. This is my final result.

Open a new document, 640×480px, and fill it in with #473e24.

Create a ((New Layer)).

Select ((Rectangular Marquee Tool)) and trace a rectangle as the one that appears below.

Fill it in with #764e2b.

Double click the layer to apply ((Layer Styles)).

((Drop Shadow)).

((Gradient Overlay)).

Accept the changes.

Create a ((New Layer)).

With ((Rectangular Marquee Tool)), draw the paper and fill it in with white.

Double click the layer to apply ((Layer Styles)).

((Drop Shadow)).

((Gradient Overlay)).

Accept the changes.

Duplicate the paper layer (Ctrl + J).

With ((Move Tool)), move the duplicated paper 4px towards the right.

Press Ctrl + T to activate ((Free Transform)) and with Alt + Shift, enlarge the paper from the center.

Zoom in the following image so that you see it in more detail.

Repeat the previous step (duplicate, move, transform) to apply 4 more papers.

Create a ((New Layer)).

With ((Rectangular Marquee Tool)) trace a selection as the one that appears below.

Fill it in with color #c9934c.

In the next 2 steps, use ((Dodge Tool)) and ((Burn Tool)). The values you need to use are in the following images, in the options bar, exactly.

Select ((Dodge Tool)) to apply some shine in the left superior side.

Then with ((Burn Tool)), darken the middle-bottom side.

Now with ((Burn Tool)), apply some shadows in the right side of the paper.

Double click the layer to go to ((Layer Styles)).

((Gradient Overlay)).

Accept the changes.

Select all the book layers and drag them into the ((Create a New Layer)) button, in order to duplicate them.

Select the duplicated layers and press Ctrl + E to unify them in an independent layer.

Finally go to ((Edit))-((Transform))-((Flip Horizontal)) and place them in the right side to complete the book.
