Tutorial in Basics, Effects, In Photos

In this tutorial I will show you how ton turn the Pisa tower, the Big Ben, or any other object, into gold. We will apply ((Color Balance)) and ((Levels)). Finally, you will create a golden poster with some brushes I will provide you with.

Open the Pisa tower image.

Create a ((New Layer)) and place it below the image.

Select ((Penn Tool)) and trace the tower.

Press Ctrl + Enter to activate the selection.

Go to ((Select))-((Inverse)) to invert the selection.

Stand in the image layer and press delete.

Now press Ctrl + B to open the ((Color Balance)) window. Introduce the following values.

Midtones: 49, 78, -29.

Highlights: 68, 55, -66.

Shadows: -27, -30, -93.

Then press Ctrl + L to go to ((Levels)). Introduce the following values.

Now open the Big Ben and repeat the previous steps. The values of ((Levels)) and ((Color Balance)) for this image will vary, so simply try until you get the desired results.

Copy the Big Ben and the Pisa tower into a new document with black background.

Before going on, download this BRUSH.

Select color #ffe92c as foreground color.

Create a ((New Layer)) and place it between the black background and the Pisa tower.

As you can see, in the following image I’ve applied different brushes. You do the same, according to what you like.
