This is a tutorial that has a perfect result. By means of ((Layer Styles)), we will create a text sunk in a metal texturel. Shall we begin?.
Create a new document (500×500).
Before you begin, download a metallic texture from deviantart.com.
Write the text with black. I used the font Bauhaus. If you use a different font, apply the same values that appear below.
Then, to the text layer, reduce the ((Fill)) to 25%.
Right click the layer and select ((Blending Options)).
((Inner Shadow)).
((Bevel and Emboss)).
((Color Overlay)).
Then apply some ((Layer Styles)). This will be the result.
