Smoothing Water Falls with Photoshop

In this simple, yet fantastic, tutorial we will try to make the water from this fall look smoother and silkier.
Open the image with the fall.
Then select ((Polygonal Lazo Tool)) and trace a selection all over the fall contour.
With the selection active, press Ctrl + J. In the image below you will notice that when you duplicate the layer with the selection active, the water will be copied in a ((new layer)).
Finally, go to ((Filter))-((Blur))-((Motion Blur)). The angle of the blur will depend on the side the water falls from. Take a look at the values I entered.
Here is the final result.
