Rustic Style Navigation Menu
Let’s make a very creative navigation menu with a rustic style. It’s very common to find this kind of style in templates of TemplateMonster. We will apply ((Layer Styles)) such as: ((Drop Shadow)), ((Inner Glow)), ((Pattern Overlay)), and ((Satin)). To create the texture, I will provide you with a ((Pattern)). Shall we begin?
Open a new document (500×500px and transparent background).
We will begin by creating a background using some filters.
Fill it in with a green color as shown in the following image.
Nos apply ((Filter))-((Noise))-((Add Noise)), with the value you want.
You can also apply ((Filter))-((Brush Strokes))-((Splatter)), and more.
Create a ((New Layer)).
Select ((Polygonal Lazo Tool)) and draw a deformed square similar to the one that appears below.
Fill it in with #903e28.
Double click the layer to apply ((Layer Styles)).
((Drop Shadow)).
((Inner Glow)).
((Pattern Overlay)). Download and install the following PATTERN .
((Satin)).
Accept the changes and you will get the following result.
Create a ((New Layer)) and change the layer style to ((Soft Light)).
Download a brush from PhotoshopBrushes in order to give the box a dirty look.
Before using the brush, Ctrl + Click the layer to activate the selection so that the paintings don’t go out or paint the background. Take a llok at the following image and see the results.
Create a ((New Layer)).
Select ((Rectangular Marquee Tool)), ((Fixed Size)), and draw 4 rectangles (160×22px and white background).
With ((Free Transform)) (Ctrl + T), rotate the buttons a few grades.
Double click the buttons layer to apply ((Layer Styles)).
((Drop Shadow)).
((Inner Shadow)).
With ((Erase Tool)) and selecting the brushes you downloaded, you will be able to create a dirty texture.
Finally, rotate the buttons with ((Free Transform)) and…done!
