Tutorial in Basics, Designing, Drawing, Effects, In Photos
By means of this tutorial, I will show you how to create realistic scars. If you like the idea, let’s get started!
Let’s work with this image.
Create a ((New Layer)).
To begin, select ((Pen Tool)) and trace the scar (make sure it looks realistic).
Transform it into selection and fill it in with black.
Now select ((Erase Tool)), ((Hardness)): 100%. Erase the scar so that it looks looks thin in the beggining, thicker in the middle, and thin in the end again. Take a look at the image below.
Also using ((Erase Tool)), ((Flow)): 20% erase the ends so that it has a slight transparency.
Ctrl + Click the layer to activate the selection. Choose #8C0202 as the main color.
Create a ((New Layer)).
Paint the superior edge. Change the layer style to ((Lighten)).
Go to the previous layer, double click the layer o go to ((Blending Options)).
((Outer Glow)).
It might be possible that you don’t the result in the first try (I hope you do!), so don’t get anxious.
Well, this is my result, I hope you like it.
