Obtaining a Color Palette from an Image

Getting the right colors sometimes can be hard. This is an easy trick that will enable you to select chromatic colors.
Open the image.
Duplicate the layer (Ctrl + J).
On the duplicated layer, apply ((Filter))-((Texture))-((Stained Glass)). Enter the values that appear below.
The values will depend on the image size and the amount of shades you want to get.
The result is this beautiful color palette.
