Moving Text in the Bottom of the Ocean

This tutorial will recreate the effect of a text moving under the water. We will apply ((Noise)), ((Chrome)). ((Extrude)), ((Stroke)), text, and ((Hue/Saturation)).

Open a new document, 400×400px, and black background.

Press D to reset the colors to black and white.

Now go to ((Filter))-((Noise))-((Add Noise)).

Go to ((Filter))-((Sketch))-((Chrome)).

Write a text using the font Arial MT Black and white color.

Now go to ((Layer))-((Layer Styles))-((Stroke)).

Accept the changes.

Select all the layers and press Ctrl + E to unify them.

Go to ((Filter))-((Stylize))-((Extrude)).

After applying the values you will get this result.

Finally, press Ctrl + U to open ((Hue/Saturation)) and color the layer. Activate ((Colorize)) and enter the following values.

Final result.
