Lion Banner Created with Text

Tutorial in Basics, Effects, In Photos, In Text

We will create a poster with the image of a lion, formed with words that describe the king of the jungle. The trick will be the use of ((Clipping Mask)).

Open a new document, 900×900px, and white background.

To begin, write the text using color black and a thick font. You have to write words that describe a lion.

In this step, you just need to duplicate the text layer (Ctrl + J) until you get to the end of the document.

Select all the text layers and press Ctrl + E to unify them.

Open the lion image and copy and paste it into the document. You can find more images at www.deviantart.com

Now create ((Clipping Mask)) to create the effect.

Press Alt + Click between the separation of the lion and the text (it appears pointed with a red line on the following image). Observe the result.

Double click the text layer to go to ((Layer Styles)) and apply ((Drop Shadow)).

Now stand in the white background layer and fill it in with  color #483808.
