Inlaid Object

Let’s create an in laid object in Photoshop. It can be very useful when it comes to creating buttons.
Open a new document, 400×400px, transparent background.
Fill it in with (7b7b7b).
Create a ((new layer)) and, with ((Elliptical Marquee Tool)), create a circle in the middle of the document. Fill it in with color 740000.
With the selection still active, create another ((new layer)) and place it below the red circle layer.
Enlarge the selection. ((Select))-((Modify))-((Contract)), radius: 4px.
Trace a vertical gradient from white to black.
Finally apply ((Filter))-((Blur))-((Gaussean Blur)). I entered a blur value of 4px, but you can enter the one you like the most.
