This is a nice and simple tutorial which will show you how to create a metallic industrial text using ((Layer Styles)) such as: ((Drop Shadow)), ((Outer Glow)), ((Inner Glow)), ((Bevel and Emboss)), ((Contour)), and a ((Pattern Overlay)) that I will provide you with in order to complete the effect.
Open a new document (400×150px and transparent background).
We will start to place a dirty, industrial texture in the background. Here I enabled this LINK to download it.
Now write the text. I used the font Arial MT Black and color #e56916.
Then go to ((Layer))-((Layer Style))-((Blending Options)).
((Drop Shadow)).
((Outer Glow)).
((Inner Glow)).
((Bevel and Emboss)).
((Pattern Overlay)). For this step, you have to download this PATTERN.
Accept the changes and…done!
