Horror Effect in a Photograph

We will create a “horror” effect in an image. We will use the filter ((Clouds)), layer styles auch as ((Color Burn)) and ((Hard Light)), ((desaturate)), and ((dodge Tool)). This is a simple effect; anyone an do it.
Open the image.
Create a new layer.
Press D to reset the colors to black and white.
Apply ((Filter))-((Render))-((Clouds)).
Place the layer with clouds underneath the image.
Change the layer style to ((Color Burn)).
Select both layers and press Ctrl + E to unify them in an independent layer.
Duplicate the unified layer (Ctrl + J).
Apply ((Image))-((Adjustments))-((Desaturate)).
Change the layer style to ((Hard Light)).
Select ((Dodge Tool)), ((Exposure)) 30% and paint the lips and eyes to clear them.
Finally, reduce the ((Opacity)) to 50%.
Done!
