First Prize Standard

Tutorial in Basics, Designing, Drawing, Web

In the previous tutorial we had seen how to create a prize standard. Today I thought of creating a different one, with different style and colors. I hope you like it.

Open a new document, 400×400px, and white background.

Create a ((New Layer)).

Select ((Rectangular Marquee Tool)) and draw a selection as seen in the following image.

Fill it in with black.

Now with, ((Polygonal Lasso Tool)) trace a rectangular selection as the one you see below.

Press delete.

Repeat the previous steps in the lower part of the rectangle.

Then go to ((Filter))-((Distort))-((Shear)).

If you marked the right points in the filter ((Shear)) you will have this result.

Double click the layer to apply ((Layer Styles)).

((Inner Shadow)).

((Bevel and Emboss)).

((Color Overlay)).

((Bevel and Emboss)) – ((Contour)).

Accept the changes.

Create a ((New Layer)).

With ((Elliptical Marquee Tool)), draw a circle as the one you see below.

Fill it in with black.

Double click the layer to apply ((Layer Styles)).

((Gradient Overlay)). Use these colors: #02205d and #0030a9.

((Stroke)).

Accept the changes.

Choose #edecec as the foreground color.

Write the text and reduce the ((Opacity)) to 80%.

Select all the layers except for the background one and press Ctrl + E to unify them.

Double click the unified layer to go to ((Layer Styles)) and apply ((Drop Shadow)).

Accept the changes.

If you wish, you can download this texture and place it in the background. You can download it from HERE.

Well, thi is the final result. Greets!
