Drawing a Magician Hat

In this tutorial I will show you how to create a magician hat. It’s very easy to create; you will simply have to use ((Pen Tool)) to draw the hat’s contour, and ((Layer Styles)) such as ((Inner Shadow)), ((Stroke)), and ((Gradient Overlay)).
Open a new document, 400×400px, and white background.
Select((Pen Tool)) and trace the superior part of the hat.
Create a ((New Layer)).
Press Ctrl + Enter to transform the trace into selection.
Fill in the selection with black.
Double click the layer to apply ((Layer Styles)).
((Inner Shadow)).
((Gradient Overlay)). Use these colors: #033ca3 and #3976e4.
Accept the changes.
Create a ((New Layer)).
Select ((Elliptical Marquee Tool)) and trace an oval as the one you see below. You can press and hold Alt so that it grows proportionally from the center.
Fill it in with color #112995.
Double click the layer to apply ((Layer Styles)).
((Inner Shadow)).
Accept the changes.
Select ((Pen Tool)) and create a trace as the one you see below.
Press Ctrl + Enter to transform the trace into selection.
Create a ((New Layer)).
Fill in the selection with color #004d9c.
Double click the layer to apply ((Layer Styles)).
((Inner Shadow)).
((Gradient Overlay)). Use these colors: #033ca3 and #3976e4.
((Stroke)).
Accept the changes.
Select ((Pen Tool)) and create a trace as the one you see below.
Fill it in with color #004d9c.
Double click the layer to open the ((Layer Styles)) window and apply ((Inner Shadow)).
Accept the changes.
Create a ((New Layer)) and place it underneath the one you had previously created.
Finally, draw the hat label.
Select ((Pen Tool)) and create the trace you see below.
Press Ctrl + Enter to transform the trace into selection.
Fill it in with black.
Now double click the label layer to open ((Layer Styles)) and apply ((Gradient Overlay)). Use these colors: #0344ba, #a6c3f9, #0344ba, and #a6c3f9.
Accept the changes and…voila!
