Drawing a Light Bulb
This is a very useful tutorial when it comes to creating a street light or something. Having the lamp, you will only need to put the bulb in it. You will simply have to draw the bulb contour using ((Pen Tool)) and apply effects with ((Layer Styles)): ((Outer Glow)), ((Inner Glow)), ((Bevel and Emboss)), ((Color Overlay)).
Open a new document, 600×600px, and black background.
Select ((Pen Tool)) and draw the bulb contour. So that it looks symmetric, I recommend the points of both sides are at the same height.
Press Ctrl + Enter to transform the trace into selection.
Create a ((New Layer)).
Fill in the selection with color #fff600.
Double click the bulb layer to apply ((Layer Styles)).
((Outer Glow)).
((Inner Glow)).
((Bevel and Emboss)).
((Color Overlay)).
Accept the changes and see the final results.
