Drawing a Cherry

I will show you how to create a cherry that you will be able to use in any graphic design project. You will even be able to use it for a logo creation. For the contours and shapes we will use ((Pen Tool)), ((Elliptical Marquee Tool)), ((Shape Tool)), and ((Polygonal Lasso Tool)). Then apply ((Gradient Overlay)) to 6 layers.
Open a new document, 300×300px, and white background.
Create a ((New Layer)).
Select ((Elliptical Marquee Tool)) and create a selection as the one you see below.
Fill it in with black.
Double click the layer to open ((Layer Styles)) and apply ((Gradient Overlay)). Use #961057 and #e10777.
Accept the changes.
Ctrl + Click the layer to activate the selection.
Create a ((New Layer)).
Fill it in with color #E10777 .
With ((Elliptical Marquee Tool)), trace a selection as the one you see below and eliminate part of the layer by pressing delete.
Now select ((Pen Tool)) and create a trace as the one you see below.
Press Ctrl + Enter to transform the trace into selection.
Create a ((New Layer)).
Fill it in with white.
Double click the layer to open ((Layer Styles)) and apply ((Gradient Overlay)). The colors you will use will be: #f42c84 and #f5a7c1.
Accept the changes.
Create a ((New Layer)).
Select ((Polygonal Lasso Tool)) to draw the following shines and fill them in with white.
Now draw a small black circle in the top side of the cherry.
Choose ((Brush Tool)), size: 3px and ((Hardness)): 0%.
Choose #6F3A1D as the foreground color.
Select ((Pen Tool)) and trace one of the cherry tails.
Create a ((New Layer)).
Go to ((Path)).
Right click the trace name you just created and choose ((Stroke Path)), Brush, from the drop down list and accept.
Duplicate the tail layer (Ctrl + J).
Apply ((Edit))-((Transform))-((Flip Horizontal)).
Select all the layers that form the cherry and drag them into the ((Create a New Layer)) button in order to duplicate them.
Select ((Pencil Tool)), 3px, and draw it following the tail trace.
Create a ((New Layer)).
Select ((Shape Tool)) and choose the leaf shape and apply it to the side of the tail.
Double click the layer to apply ((Gradient Overlay)). For this gradient you will use: #40b953 and #80ce78.
Accept the changes.
Create a ((New Layer)).
Choose #B3E098 as the foreground color.
Select ((Line Tool)), 1px, to trace the following lines in the leaf.
Select the layers that form the leaf and press Ctrl + E to unify them in a new layer.
Select the independent layer and duplicate it (Ctrl + J).
Apply ((Edit))-((Transform))-((Flip Horizontal)).
