Diagonal Lines

Tutorial in Basics, Drawing, Effects, In Photos

Let’s apply a diagonal lines effect on an image by creating a ((Pattern)).

Let’s use this image.

Leave the image for a moment and create a new document (6×6px and transparent background).

At first sight you will think it is impossible to work with the document. For that reason you will need  to zoom on it to 3200%.

Choose #d89f96 as the primary color.

Selecct ((Pencil Tool)) and draw a siagonal line as shown below.

Then ((Edit))-((Define Pattern)), name it, and save it.
Close the document.

Go back to the image.

Create a ((new layer)).

Go to ((Edit))-((Fill)), select the ((Pattern)) you haver previously saved.

Change the layer mode to ((Multiply)).

I hope you liked it.
