Creating the Windows Vista Logo

Today, we will learn to create the Windows Vista logo. For many of you, it is a hated operative system, but we have to admit the the design of the logo is very good.

Open a new document, 800×600px, and transparent background.

Select ((Gradient Tool)), ((Radial Gradient)), and trace the gradient using the following colors: #157c92 / #004571.

Now with ((Elliptical Marquee Tool)), trace a selection as the one that appears below, and fill it in with color #356699.

Then select ((Brush Tool)), and enter the values that appear pointed with an arrow in the following image.

Paint the document similar to the image you see below.

((Inner Shadow)).

((Outer Glow)).

After applying those ((Layer Styles)), you will see this image.

Download the Windows Vista icon by clicking HERE.

With ((Pen Tool)) or ((Magic Wand Tool)), remove the background, copy it, and paste it in the document as you see in the following image.

To this layer, apply the following ((Blending Options)).

((Drop Shadow)).

((Outer Glow)).

Now we have our Windows Vista logo done.
