Creating the Leaf of a Plant with a Cartoon Style

Cool and funny tutorial in which you will create some leaves with a cartoon style. We will use ((Pen Tool)) to dra the leaf contour, some soft brushes, and ((Gradient Tool)) to create the style.
Open a new document, 800×600px, and transparent background.
Select ((Gradient Tool)) and trace a linear gradient in the center of the document, using the colors #0090ff and #003ebd.
Now with ((Pen Tool)) trace the leaf contour.
Press Ctrl + Enter to transform the trace into selection.
Create a ((New Layer)).
Fill in the selection with color #57e401.
Don’t deselect!
Create another ((New Layer)).
Choose #308e06 as the foreground color.
Select a soft brush with a large size and paint the edges with big size to give shadow and shape it.
Create a ((New Layer)).
Select ((Pen Tool)) and trace the stem of the leaf.
Fill it in with color #a2ff00.
Trace a selection as the one that appears below.
Press Ctrl + Enter to activate the selection.
With the selection active, press Ctrl + Shift + Alt in the leaf layer to create an intersection between both selections.
This is how the new selection will look:
Create a ((New Layer)).
With the selection active, trace a linear gradient from left to right using color #a2ff00 to transparent.
Repeat the 2 previous steps to create 2 more gradients.
Finally, duplicate the layers (Ctrl + J) and rotate them with ((Free Transform)) (Ctrl + T) so that you have 2 leaves.
