Tutorial in Basics, Designing, Drawing, Web
There are thousands of ways of trying ((Layer Styles)), that’s why today I tried until I discovered how to create a Gel-style standard, to be used as a web source.
Open a new document, 400×300px, and white background.

Choose #3885c0 as the foreground color.
Select ((Shape Tool)) and, from the options bar, choose the standard shape.
Now go to ((Layer))-((Layer Style))-((Blending Options)).
((Drop Shadow)).
((Inner Shadow)).
((Inner Glow)).
((Gradient Overlay)).
((Stroke)).
After applying the wide variety of ((Layer Styles)) you will see this:
In a new layer, add a text, element, or logo to which you will be able to apply ((Layer Styles)) as well. In this case I added the Design Owners logo.
Double click the layer to go to ((Blending Options)).
((Bevel and Emboss)).
((Stroke)).
This will be the final result.
