Creating a Human Eye in Photoshop
Tutorial in Basics, Drawing, Effects, Goodies, Various
We will create a human eye in Photoshop with a great result! We will paint with ((Smudge Tool)), use the ((Noise)) filter, ((Hue/Saturation)), and 3 layer styles.
Open a new document (400×400px and transparent background).
Create a ((new layer)). With ((Elliptical Marquee Tool)), draw a circumference in the center of the document. Fill it in with white. In order for it to be well-centered, use the guides (Ctrl + R). When the rules appear, click and drag them inside the document.
Double click the layer you draw the circle in. The ((Blending Options)) window will pop up. Choose ((Drop Shadow)).
Then ((Inner Shadow)).
Finally ((Outer Glow)).
And then ((Inner Glow)).
Create a ((new layer)) and fill it in with white.
With the selection still active, apply a ((degradado radial)) from black to white. Take a look at the image below.
Create a ((new layer)). Keep the selection active. Go to ((Filter))-((Noise))-((Add Noise)) and enter the values that appear below.
Now, with ((Smudge Tool)), move the brush from the center towards outside. Use the values that appear below.
Let’s color the eye. Press Ctrl + U ((Hue/Saturation)). Enter the following values:
Change the layer style to ((Overlay)).
Create the final ((new layer)). Make a circular selection in the center of the eye (use the guides so that it’s centered appropriately).
Fill it in with black.
Finally, with a soft brush and white color, draw small reflections. You will see the final results in the image below.
