Creating a Glass Door or Screen for a Shower

In this tutorial you will learn to create a glass door, one of those common doors that you can find in any bathroom. We will apply several ((Layer Styles)) and shapes. The result is very realistic. I recommend it to you.
Open a new document (500×500px).
Create a ((New Layer)).
With ((Rectangle Tool)), create a black square as the one you can see below.
Double click the layers to apply ((Layer Styles)).
((Drop Shadow)).
((Gradient Overlay)). For the gradient, use the colors: #d4d4d4 and #f5f3f3.
Save the changes to get these results.
Create a ((New Layer)) and draw a black rectangle.
With ((Rectangular Marquee Tool)), select a part of the rectangle, then press delete.
Double click the layer to apply ((Layer Styles)).
((Drop Shadow)).
((Bevel and Emboss)).
((Gradient Overlay)). Use these colors: #c3c2c2 y #ffffff.
Save the changes.
Create a ((New Layer)).
In the door, with ((Rectangle Tool)), draw a black rectangle.
Double click the layer to apply ((Layer Styles)).
((Bevel and Emboss)).
((Gradient Overlay)). Use the following colors: #0b61aa and #a2cadd.
Save the changes. We almost have the door’s window.
Select all the layers you used to create the doors and drag them towards the button ((Create New Layer)) so that you duplicate them. Then, select the duplicated layer and press Ctrl + E to unify them.
Place the other door to the right side and next to the other.
Create a ((New Layer)).
With ((Polygonal Lazo Tool)), create a trace in the door as the one that appears below. Apply a gradient from white to transparent using ((Gradient Tool)).
Now change the layer style to ((Soft Light)).
Press Ctrl + J to duplicate the layer and place it to the right side.
Create another ((New Layer)).
Let’s create the door’s latch.
Select ((Rounded Rectangle Tool)), radius: 20px, to draw a shape as seen below.
Go to ((Layer Styles)) again.
((Drop Shadow)).
((Bevel and Emboss)).
((Gradient Overlay)). Use these colors: #d5d5d5 y #ffffff.
Save the changes.
Duplicate the layer (Ctrl + J) to add the latch to the other door.
Finally, let’s create the hinges.
Create a ((New Layer)).
Draw the hinge with ((Rounded Marquee Tool)), with ((Rectangular Marquee Tool)) cut the part of the rectangle that doesn’t go, and press delete.
Double click the layer to apply ((Layer Styles)).
((Drop Shadow)).
((Bevel and Emboss)).
((Gradient Overlay)). Use these colors: #ffffff and #636363.
Finally, the creation of this bath door or screen is done!
