Coloring a Black and White Image

This is an excellent tutorial that will show you how to colorize a b&w image. The key of this technique will be the use of the layer style ((Linear Burn)).
Open the image.
Create a ((new layer)).
Select the brush with a dark red color, paint over the face including the eyebrows and lips. In case you paint an area you shouldn’t paint, use ((Erase Tool)).
Change the layer style to ((Linear Burn)). Now press Ctrl + U to open the ((Hue/Saturation)) window, and apply the values you see below. The said values will depend on the image you use and on the red tone you have selected.
Create a ((new layer)) and repeat the previous steps, with the flower.
Now do the same, with the stem of the flower.
Create a ((new layer)), select green, paint, and change the layer style to ((Linear Burn)).
