This tutorial will show you another icon that you will be able to add to your existig icon collection. In this occasion we will create a clock icon.

Open a new document (300×300 and white background).

Create a ((New Layer)) and, with ((Elliptical Marquee Tool)), create a black circle in the center of the document.

Double-click the layer to go to ((Blending Options)).

((Drop Shadow)).

((Gradient Overlay)). For the gradient, choose the following colors: #69caf8, #999999 y #ffffff.

((Stroke)).

It will look like this.

Create a ((New Layer)) and draw a circle but, this time, smaller than the previous one. Fill it in with black.

Double-click the layer to go back to ((Blending Options)).

((Gradient Overlay)). Choose the following colors: #e1e3ff y #becaff.

((Stroke)).

Save the changes.

Let’s add a reflection to the clock. In the superior area draw an oval. With ((Gradient Tool)), linear, trace a gradient from white to transparent. Take a look at tje result in the following image.

Create a ((New Layer)). Draw 4 small circles and fill them in with red.

Create another ((New Layer)). With ((Elliptical Marquee Tool)), draw two circles in the center of the clock. Fill in the first with black, and the second one (which will be half the size of the other), with grey. Check out the results in the following image.

Create another ((New Layer)).

Finally, let’s draw the needles of the clock. With ((Line Tool)), ((Weight)): 5px draw the hour and minutes needles. Then, with the same tool, but with ((Weight)): 1px, trace the seconds needle.
