Chrome Cubes in 3D

Tutorial in Basics, Drawing, Effects, Various

This is an interesting tutorial that recreates the effect of 3D chrome cubes by means of the use of the filter ((Chrome)).

Open a new document, 800×600px, and white background.

Select ((Shape Tool)). Then select ((Polygon Tool)) and draw 4 black polygons as shown in the following image.

Now unify all the layers. ((Layer))-((Flatten Image)).

Then go to ((Filter))-((Blur))-((Radial Blur)). Take a look at the values that appear in the following image.

Select ((Filter))-((Sketch))-((Chrome)). Use the values that appear by default.

You just have to color the cubes using your favorite colors.

((Image))-((Adjustments))-((Hue Saturation)).

This was my result.
