Button with a Plastic Reflection

Let’s design a fabulous button with a special plastic reflection, which will make you site look even more professional. We will use filters like ((Inner Shadow)), ((Inner Glow)), ((Gradient Overlay)), ((Stroke)), and ((Drop Shadow)).

Open a new document (500×500px and black background).

Select ((Elliptical Marquee Tool)), ((Fixed Size)), 145×145px. Trace the circle.

Create a ((New Layer)).

Fill it in with black.

Double click the layer to open the ((Layer Styles)) window.

((Inner Shadow)).

((Inner Glow)).

((Gradient Overlay)).

((Stroke)).

You will get this result.

Create a ((New Layer)).

Choose white as the main color.

With ((Shape Tool)), choose the shape that is pointed with a red arrow in the following image. Apply it in the center of the button with white background.

Double click the Shape layer and edit the ((Layer Styles)).

((Drop Shadow)).

((Inner Glow)).

((Gradient Overlay)).

It will look like this.

Create a ((New Layer)).

Select ((Elliptical Marquee Tool)), ((Fixed Size)), 89×89px, and draw a white circle.

Double lick the layer to go to ((Layer Styles)).

((Inner Glow)).

((Gradient Overlay)).

((Stroke)).

After applying those ((Layer Styles)), the circle will look like this.

Create a ((New Layer)).

I added the Design Owners pen in this case, but you can choose the icon or draw you like the most.

Double click the layer ton go to ((Layer Styles)) and select:

((Gradient Overlay)).

((Stroke)).

Accept the changes.

Change the layer mode to ((Darken)) and…done!
