Blurred Glass Effect
Tutorial in Basics, Effects, In Photos
We will create an effect of blurred glass. It has been very useful for me and works that I’ve done, I hope you like it too. In order to create this effect, we will apply ((Layer Styles)) and some filters.
Open the image.
Duplicate the background layer.
Now apply the water-movement effect. ((Filter))-((Distort))-((Ripple)). In this filter, I applied the values that appear by default; you will, of course, be able to enter the values you consider most appropriate.
Now apply ((Filter))-((Blur))-((Gaussean Blur)). We will input 1.0px, as the image shows.
Then cut the part of the image you will not use. Then select ((Rectangular Marquee Tool)) and create a rectangle in the center of the image.
Go to ((Select))-((Inverse)), once the selection is inverted, press delete.
As you can see, the image doesn´t look good; we have to fix it. Right click the superior layer where you applied the effect in, and choose ((Blending Options)) from the drop down menu. Apply the following styles.
After applying these simple ((Layer Styles)), the blurred effect will be done.
