Billiard Ball Logo – Web20 Style

We will create a billiard ball logo using the famous Web 2.0 style. In the center of the ball you can add the name of your website or business. For instance, if the name of your business is “Jack”, you will add the letter “J”.
Open a new document (250×250px and white background).
Create a ((nueva capa)).
Choose #ff1313 as main color and #ad0000 as secondary.
With ((Elliptical Marquee Tool)) draw a circle in the cente of the document.
Select ((Gradient Tool)), ((Radial)) and trace the gradient as shown in the image below. The shine on the ball must appear in the left top side of it.
With the selection active, go to ((Select))-((Modify))-((Feather)) (8px).
Create another ((nueva capa)) and fill it in with white.
With ((Elliptical Marquee Tool)) eliminate 3/4 of the white circle, it must look like an increasing moon. Take a look at the image below.
Eliminate the white fill by pressing the delete key and apply a gradient from white to transparent.
Create another ((capa nueva)).
Create a circle (smaller than the ball) and fill it in with white. Check out the image below.
Create a ((capa nueva)).
With ((Elliptical Marquee Tool)), draw the shade and fill it in with grey. Place the layer below the others.
You just need to enter the initial letters. I entered “DO”.
