Aurora Texture

This is a fantastic texture to be used in websites, wallpapers, or even to be used in a project.
Open a new document, 600×400px, and black background.
Select ((Gradient Tool)) and trace a gradient from white to transparent as shown in the following image.
Now go to ((Filter))-((Distort))-((Wave)). Enter the following values.
After applying the effect, it will look like this.
Create a ((New Layer)).
Select ((Gradient Tool)) and trace a linear gradient from left to right using these colors: #f9e600, #6f156c, #6f156c, and #002874.
As the last step, change the layer style to ((Multiply)) and reduce the ((Fill)) to 80%.
