Adding Curved Edges to an Image

You sure know different ways of adding curved edges to an image. I can certainly assure you this is the most efficient one. We will create curved edges using ((vector mask)).

Open the image you will apply the effect to.

Create a ((new layer)) and place it below the image.

Click the layer with the image, press Ctrl + T to ((Free Transform)) and, reduce the size proportionally by pressing and holding Alt + Shift. Take a look at the image below; you can see the image reduced and the black background you created.

With the image selected, click ((Add a Mask)). It appears pointed with a red arrow in the image below.

Stand in the ((máscara)) you just created and press ((Add Mask)) again.

Then select ((Rounded Rectangle Tool)), ((radio)): 30px and ((Shape Layers)) active.

Create te rectangle that will frame the picture.

Finally, apply ((Stroke)). Double click the image so that the ((Blending Options)) window pops up. Enter the values that appear in the image below.

Done!
