Adding a Cowling with Carbon Fiber

By means of a Pattern, we will add a carbon fiber cowling to a vehicle.
Open the image.
Select ((Pen Tool)) to trace the contour of the cowling.
Then press Ctrl + Enter to transform the trace into selection and then Ctrl + C to ((copy))
Press Ctrl + V to ((Paste)) the selection in a new layer.
Standing in the duplicated layer, go to ((Image))-((Adjustments))-((Replace Color)).
Select the eyedropper tool, ((Add to Sample)). Then select the colors you want to replace and enter the color values in ((Replacement)).
Before going on, download the carbon fiber image by clicking here.
Open the texture in Photoshop and go to ((Edit))-((Define Pattern)), save it, and close the document.
Go back to the document with the vehicle and double click the layer to go to ((Blending Options)).
((Pattern Overlay)). Select, from the pattern list, the one you previouslly saved and enter the following values.
Finally, we got the result: to add a carbon fiber cowling to this car.
